A 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to firearms safety education for all ages
One of the greatest challenges surrounding firearms in the United States today is not access - it is education. In nearly every organized sport, we understand the importance of training from an early age. Youth sports begin with Peewee leagues and progress through years of practice, coaching, and skill development.
"Firearms are not dangerous when placed in the hands of trained, responsible individuals."
For generations, firearms were a normal and practical part of American life - tools used to provide food, protect families, and participate in recreational shooting sports. That culture of education has steadily faded, leaving a critical gap in understanding that MFSI Inc. was formed to address.
Building confidence through structured, safe, and supportive firearms education
Strict safety protocols and trained Range Safety Officers ensure a secure learning environment for all participants.
Parents, grandparents, and guardians participate alongside youth, strengthening family bonds through shared activities.
MMSSA is not a competition. Participants shoot against themselves, measuring personal progress at their own pace.
Partnered with industry sponsors to develop an affordable, age-inclusive .22 LR shooting system for everyone.
MMSSA teams may affiliate with the MidwayUSA Foundation to receive funding. All funds must benefit youth participants with transparent accounting.
Rebuilding firearms education requires parents, community leaders, sponsors, and supporters who believe in responsible instruction over fear and misinformation.
Through hands-on instruction and a supportive environment, MFSI Inc. has demonstrated something powerful - even the most skeptical participants often discover they enjoy shooting once they receive proper training.
Hearing the ring of a steel target, improving accuracy, and building confidence happens quickly with minimal practice when safety and structure come first.
Many individuals who begin with MMSSA later explore other shooting sports as their skills and comfort level grow.
Safety and Fun Come First! The MMSSA prioritizes firearm safety through strict, well-defined rules:
Range Officers (RSOs) manage each course with standardized commands, ensuring all participants maintain safe gun handling throughout every event.
Join us in shaping the future of firearms education - safely, responsibly, and together.
